CPRsouth5: Convergence: Infrastructure, Services, Policies
6- 8 December 2010, Xi’an, China
CPRsouth5 was held at the Xi’an University of Post and Telecommunication (XUPT) in Xi’an China under the theme Convergence: infrastructure, services, policies from 6-8 December 2010. Prior to the conference, tutorial sessions will be held for Young Scholars on the fundamentals of technology, markets, regulation and policy from 4-5 December 2010.

Tutorials
Fifteen International young scholars have been selected for the tutorial session which will be held prior to the CPRsouth5 conference which will be held in Xi’an, China.
Applications were requested to submit an one page curriculum vita and an one-page write-up outlining why you wish to be an Asia-Pacific based expert capable of contributing to ICT policy and regulatory reform in the region. The applications were reviewed according to the following criteria:
1. Content of application
2. Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, policy-relevant research for the Asia Pacific
3. Quality of writing
4. Gender and country representation

Tutorial sessions will be held for Young Scholars on the fundamentals of technology, markets, regulation and policy. The young scholars participating the tutorials will have the opportunity to attend the CPRsouth5 conference that follows. Tutorials will be held from 4 – 5 December 2010 and the conference from 6 -8 December 2010
