Supriya Singh

Prof. Supriya Singh is the Professor of Sociology of Communications at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University. Her research focuses on the sociology of money and banking, globalisation, gender and financial inclusion; money, gender and family violence, migration and the transnational family; user-centred design of information and communication technologies and methodological issues related to qualitative research

Among her latest books are Money, Migration and Family: India to Australia (Palgrave Macmillan 2016), Globalization and Money: A Global South Perspective (Rowman & Littlefield, 2013), and The Girls Ate Last (Angsana Publications, 2013).
